About Us

We are Claudia and Nicola Scussel, two Italians that two years ago decided to open The Italian Treasures - Historical & Cultural Events Tour Operator.And now our dream has become true!

We both come from South Tuscany, Monte Amiata, in the middle of Val d'Orcia to be exact.

We have travelled all around Europe and we spent several months in USA and Brasil and in 2007 we decide to move to the UK.

Last September we got married and so now it’s a new beginning for us as a Family.

I, Claudia, come from a restaurant and hotel family tradition, I worked since 1999 also for public and private Tourism and Travel Agencies while Nicola was running a B&B in Siena, he is a gardener and a fantastic bread maker!

We love Italian traditions and for all our life we had participated actively at our village festival and now we would like to take you to this magical atmosphere, through the history, the music, the food and the wine of the most beautiful, know and unknown, places of Italy. Our passion for cooking traditional dishes and travelling gives us the enthusiasm to transfer all these things to other people, like you.

We propose historical, cultural, musical and eno-gastronomical events, packages and accommodations all over Italy. We will provide all services except for flights; but we can provide you with information regarding the closest airports and best timings.

Every hotel, restaurant, shop that we have chosen has been personally evaluated by us and we know every single person who will take care of you during your stay in Italy.

For this reason we give you the possibility to personalize your break or your holiday step by step.

We are members of ASTA (American Society of Tour Operator) since 2007.
